Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager's objective is to supervise and maintain the proper working order, operation, and appearance of all related feed manufacturing equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs of machinery, equipment and physical plant of the production facilities. This position requires the manager to be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals, team member goodwill, and the public image.This position has the authority to stop production and delivery for quality, feed safety or occupational/employee safety issues.You are responsible for controlling the total maintenance of the equipment and facilitiesYou arrange for, and manage, appropriate third-party contractor support, as neededYou supervise and coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain building, facilities, equipment, and machineryYou prepare and documents records, work orders, requisitions for parts, daily log sheets, and other written papers as required.As a Qualified Individual under the FSMA rule, you apply the training provided on the principles of animal food hygiene and safety relative to the company's Food Safety Plan by following implemented protocols, policies, procedures and controls.You maintain and maximize efficiency for production rate and reliability for all equipmentWho you are:Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skillsKnowledgeable in all phases of building maintenanceState of Pennsylvania boiler operation certification preferredHave a mindset for safety and are comfortable leading and enforcing safe work practicesWilling to exercise schedule flexibility as the demands of the plant requireAbout the Company:Kalmbach Feeds offers the highest quality nutritional products for livestock, poultry, and companion animals.
