Travel RN – MedSurg / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and monitor for condition changes, including telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Perform unit-level procedures including PICC line removal and vas cath/temporary catheter removal
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Conduct hourly rounding, bedside shift report, and utilize My Care Boards and AIDET communication framework
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required prior to submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Proficiency with telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in high-acuity situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Experience working in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with iMobile technology and Dynamap vital sign equipment
• Demonstrated ability to self-schedule and work collaboratively within a team environment
