Maintenance Technician

Under close supervision, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, this position will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on specialized building equipment and systems. Maintenance Technician will need to be able to complete multiple tasks in the building and grounds daily.

Essential Functions

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs to the facility and equipment, including but not limited to, painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry, observing all safety standards and policies.
• Performs troubleshooting and diagnoses problems.
• Performs preventative maintenance duties including but not limited to filter changes, lubrication of motors, etc.
• Meets and coordinates with contracted vendors.
• As needed performs housekeeping duties in common areas, hallways, stairwells, and grounds in times of need.
• Snow removal and landscaping as needed.
• Maintains our work order system, Hot SoS, fully documents all work as instructed.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers and develop teamwork.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalency certificate is required.
