Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This position is responsible for performing general building and equipment maintenance, completing repairs, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has experience with basic mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
• Repair doors, lighting, shelving, flooring, and other facility components.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with facility projects and other maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or mechanical repair experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, climb, and walk throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
