Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Telehealth Specialist

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you flexibility in your work setting while still providing you with the necessary support and resources to thrive. You will participate in virtual therapy sessions through a secure and user-friendly telehealth platform, ensuring that both you and your clients enjoy a seamless and productive experience. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, emphasizing a work-life balance that benefits both employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' needs and challenges.
• Facilitate therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based practices tailored to each client's situation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with client goals and promote positive outcomes.
• Complete all documentation within 24 hours of sessions, ensuring thorough and accurate record-keeping.
• Engage in regular peer case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share insights with colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and regulations governing mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves adults and couples from diverse backgrounds seeking support for a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and trauma. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding clients through their unique trajectories toward healing and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• An active, independent licensure such as LMFT, LCPC, LPC, or LCSW.
• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, ensuring effective communication and support in a virtual format.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant clinical experience, during which they honed their therapeutic skills in assessing and treating mental health disorders. Experience in telehealth practices is highly desirable, given the nature of this remote position.
