Mon - Thurs, 40 hrs/week, days

Assignment Details

Holiday coverage required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state's board of health.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Less than 1 year of experience desired, but not necessary if requirements are met.
• Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures and rehabilitation practices.
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment upon referral of a physician.
• Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities such as exercise, massage, heat, cold, and electricity.
• Collaborate with families and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.
