Position patients for ultrasound exams and explain procedures. Operate the ultrasound equipment to provide quality images and monitor patients. Process images and patient information through RIS and PACS, or other hard copy parameters. Conduct digital data analysis, quality assurance on ultrasound equipment, and perform required cleaning/sterilization procedures for each patient. Desired Professional Skills and Experience High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience. Current BLS (CPR) certification. Registered Vascular Sonographer (ARDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
