This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing problems to determine the most effective repair solutions. Repair and Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or emergencies, and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime. Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and fix problems, replace faulty components, and ensure the proper functioning of machinery. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks. Identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to eliminate or mitigate risks. Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain accurate documentation of safety-related activities. Maintenance Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment performance. Qualifications And Skills High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical certifications or vocational training is a plus) Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to use various hand and power tools effectively and safely Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Strong communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
