Senior Systems Administrator

Responsibilities Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit. Oversee and manage both virtual and physical servers for enterprise, regional, and local systems. Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission‑critical applications and infrastructure services. Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks. Monitor and optimize system performance. Ensure systems and databases meet security standards and comply with relevant regulations. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system and database issues. Requirements BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments. Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience managing both virtual and physical servers. Experience performing system monitoring. Experience with backup management. Experience implementing performance optimizations.
