The position is responsible for the delivery of various data security operational processes related to Database Activity Monitoring. The selected candidate will participate in a team that monitors, analyzes, and responds to information security related risks such as policy violations and threats to company databases.Key Responsibilities* Monitor, analyze, and respond to information security risks, policy violations, and threats to databases.* Support the efforts of the Security Operations Team, Risk Management, and various Engineering teams for program maturity.* Deliver various data security operational processes related to Database Activity Monitoring.* Communicate security concepts to business teams.* Design solutions to automate manual processes.* Build trusted relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.* Maintain detailed living documents.Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.* Excellent organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications* Relevant professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CIA or equivalent).* Minimum of 1+ years of Security Experience or equivalent.* Knowledge of Data Protection concepts (e.g., Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, Data at Rest versus Data in Motion, Unstructured versus Structured data).* Understanding of information security best practices and technologies.* Experience with Python, SQL, and/or PowerShell.* Analytical background and an analytical approach, especially with respect to event classification, event correlation, and root cause analysis. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
