Reports To: Daily Operations Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and hard-working Vehicle Detailer to restore and maintain the appearance of automobiles to the highest standards. In this role, you will perform deep cleaning, paint correction, interior sanitation, and protective coating applications to make vehicles look, feel, and smell brand new.

• Exterior Detailing:
• Wash, rinse, and dry vehicles thoroughly using designated soaps, pressure washers, microfibers, and chamois cloths.
• Perform clay bar treatments to remove embedded surface contaminants from paint and glass.
• Operate rotary and dual-action polishers to carry out buffing, scratch removal, and multi-step paint correction.
• Apply waxes, paint sealants, and ceramic coatings to protect paint finishes.
• Clean, dress, and polish wheels, tires, wheel wells, trim, exhaust tips, and engine bays.

• Interior Detailing:
• Vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, trunk space, floor mats, and headliners.
• Shampoo, steam-clean, and extract stains from carpet and cloth upholstery.
• Clean, condition, and restore leather seating and trim surfaces.
• Sanitize and detail dashes, consoles, cup holders, air vents, door jambs, and glass without leaving streaks.
• Apply deodorizing and odor-elimination treatments as needed.
  
• Quality Control & Shop Operations:
• Inspect finished vehicles to ensure work meets quality standards before each booking. 
• Safely manage chemical inventory, diluting products correctly according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, tools, pads, and detailing equipment.
• Move and safely park fleet vehicles around the shop and lot.

• Experience & Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record to safely maneuver vehicles.
• 1–2 years of professional automotive detailing or paint correction experience preferred (will train candidates with a strong work ethic).
• Familiarity with detailing chemicals, buffer types, polishing pads, and steam extractors experience preferred (will train candidates with a strong work ethic).
• Ability to work weekends, nights, early mornings and holidays. 

• Personal Attributes:
• Extreme attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Strong time management skills to complete jobs within set labor timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a shop team.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (equipment, chemical buckets, tires).
• Comfort working in variable environment temperatures (hot/cold shop settings) although fleet warehouse does have HVAC.

• Certification in Ceramic Coating application or Paint Correction (e.g., IDA Certification).
• Experience driving both manual and automatic transmissions.

• Pay: $16/hour
