Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract position offers four openings across elementary, middle, and high school levels, providing an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs. Starting August 24, 2026, and extending through June 10, 2027, you’ll work onsite and become an essential support for students and colleagues alike.

Open positions include:

• Elementary school: 8:30AM-4PM
• Middle school: 8:30AM-4PM or 8AM-3:15PM (schedule to be determined)
• High school (2 roles): 7:15AM-2:45PMAll positions are 35 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Special Education certification/licensure appropriate for managing caseloads
• Bachelor’s degree (emergency teaching permits require this minimum)
• Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in urban environments
• Mastery of subject matter, instructional skills, and curriculum resources
• Ability to obtain all required Pennsylvania state clearances
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
• Flexibility to work assigned hours; no accommodations to the schedule can be made
• Comfortable adapting to district culture and procedures
