Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a Med/Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care in a busy acute care hospital. The role involves managing a wide range of patient conditions with a focus on safety, comfort, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs and dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina or Compact RN license required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Ability to complete all required modules before start and attend staff meetings.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
