Rehabilitation Unit Profile
The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.

General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):· Number of Beds - 31· Number of Staff – 25 nursing, 20 therapy· Type of staff:o Day Shift – 1 charge, 2-3 RN’s or LVN’s, 2 techso Night Shift - Same as above· Patient Ratios – Day shift 1nurse to 5-6 patients, Night shift 1 nurse to 6-7 patients· Type of equipment - Hoyers, wheelchairs, walkers, medication carts· EMR – BLS· Permanent Positions on Unit Available? (Y/N) – Yes
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.· Rehabilitation (therapy) experience, CareTools· Meditech experiencePreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.· Rehab experience, transfer experience· Wound care experienceList typical procedures performed on unit(s):· Wound care, incision dressings· Foley cath placement, blood transfusion, respiratory therapy (trach suction/breathing treatments)Best personality Fit:· Organized· Works well with others
Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.· Scrub Color – galaxy blue or royal blue· No other colors should be worn. On Fridays only can a different color TOP can be worn.
Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.· Start time 1845pm for nights and 0645am for days. Must take a 30 minute lunch!
Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc.··
