Associate Attorney

the client is a well-established litigation law firm with a strong reputation in maritime, admiralty, and insurance defense matters. The firm represents clients in complex litigation, arbitration, and appellate matters in both state and federal courts. Attorneys work with direct mentorship and are given meaningful responsibility from the outset, with opportunities for hands-on learning and professional development. the client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1–3+ years of civil litigation experience to join its team. The role is well suited for an attorney who wants active participation in litigation, meaningful client exposure, and a clear path for growth within a highly respected practice. Responsibilities will typically include handling litigation matters, supporting advocacy in court proceedings, and contributing to legal research, writing, and oral argument. Qualifications include 1–3+ years of civil litigation experience, and an active member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Insurance defense experience is preferred, and maritime law experience is highly desired; federal court experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a professional, self-motivated, and client-service oriented approach.
