Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading
• Complete a wide range of harvest activities such as husk and sort operations
• Operate dryer to dry crop within the prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements
• Shell and store crop from bins in the dryer facility
• Supply the Conditioning department with a constant supply of seed
• Apply appropriate treatment to seed
• Label, tag, bag and palletize seed
• Enter inventory information into computer
• Stage seed for shipment in warehouse
• Retag in-house seed
• Re-bag backhaul (returned) seed
• Inspect pro boxes to ensure they are free of debris and clean
• Wash or repair pro boxes as necessary
• Safely operate equipment using PLC computer automation software
• Enter data such as testing results and quality concerns
• Manage inventory and move seed using forklifts
• Ensure compliance with Quality and Safety requirements, including developing and reviewing procedures
• Support maintenance work, warehousing, and shipping of seed as directed by the supervisor

Required Qualifications
