Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,725 per week

Job Summary The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in San Francisco, California, within a facility that offers a variety of surgical specialties including neuro, cardiac, orthopedic, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, thoracic, gynecology, vascular, hematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, and organ transplant. The role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care, supporting a range of surgical procedures in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must bring their current California RN license on day one of orientation. Job Details Location: San Francisco, California Shift: 12‑hour days Schedule: 36 hours per week, with day shifts scheduled for 12 hours each Start Date: 06/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Required: Current California Registered Nurse license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; minimum of 2 years Pediatric Operating Room (OR) experience; experience in scrub and circulating roles for ophthalmology procedures; previous travel assignment; professional references available at submission. Preferred: Pediatric OR experience; proficiency in laparoscopic surgery and scrubbing surgical procedures; experience with Epic electronic medical record system. Additional Requirements Flexibility to float to other UCSF facilities as needed. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Certification in BLS and PALS required; additional certifications acceptable.
