Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical plans
• Provide support during surgeries by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and handing surgical instruments as needed
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical experience is preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
