TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.Position DescriptionPerforms the administrative duties of planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating special development efforts. Responsibilities may include: cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individual, foundation, and corporate support for the TTU/System; adherence to the prospect management system; and plans, coordinates and evaluates development goals. Responsible for fiscal management of development goals. Work is performed under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative.Major/Essential FunctionsDevelop and manage a portfolio of 100–150 major gift prospects and donors, cultivating meaningful relationships that align with the university's strategic priorities and philanthropic initiativesIdentify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective and current major gift donors through strategic engagement, annual giving initiatives, and personalized fundraising plansCollaborate with the Assistant Vice President of External Relations, TTU System Office, faculty, and institutional leadership to identify, research, and develop new major gift prospectsPrepare compelling fundraising proposals, grant applications, and other solicitation materials to secure philanthropic support for university prioritiesAchieve established annual fundraising performance metrics, including donor contacts, visits, portfolio penetration, solicitations, and other development goalsManage grant administration and endowment stewardship by ensuring compliance, monitoring expenditures, preparing required reports, and maintaining donor intentMaintain accurate and timely documentation of donor interactions, fundraising activities, stewardship efforts, and gift records in the donor management system in accordance with institutional policies and best practicesPartner with alumni engagement, donor relations, faculty, and staff to develop and implement donor cultivation, recognition, and stewardship opportunities that strengthen long-term philanthropic relationshipsRepresent Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at university, alumni, donor, and community events, serving as a professional ambassador for the institutionOccasional Duties Other duties as assigned.
