As a Security Officer Driver Credential Desk in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a utilities location, you will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post may include routine patrols, visible presence to help deter incidents, and clear communication during security-related activities. Pay Rate: $16.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment areas, and/or operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, yards, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or conditions that may require reporting.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report access-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
