As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will help monitor entry points, manage badge and access activity, and patrol assigned areas to help discourage security-related incidents. In this access control role, you will stay visible, support daily operations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while bringing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check badges, passes, and/or identification, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and support security-related operations.
• Assist with traffic and gate activity involving personnel, shipments, and/or deliveries, while maintaining accurate logs, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following emergency response procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
