Pre-Service Center Specialist

To support the Revenue Cycle Patient Access team, the full-time remote Pre-Service Center Specialist will coordinate financial clearance activities, including patient demographic validation, insurance verification, and obtaining referral authorizations to ensure timely access to care and maximize hospital reimbursement. Key responsibilities Monitor and clear work queues by obtaining necessary financial clearance elements in accordance with management guidelines Act as a subject matter expert in navigating payer policies to secure required authorizations and referrals for scheduled care Collaborate with patients, providers, and staff to resolve financial clearance issues and ensure all necessary information is documented accurately Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or completion of Revenue Partners training preferred At least one year of registration experience with advanced knowledge of insurance payers and requirements Strong understanding of healthcare insurance, terminology, and coding (CPT/ICD-10) Experience with Epic preferred, including proficiency in Epic workqueues Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry/interpretation skills Virtual Vocations Inc
