Seasonal Maintenance Assistant

Seasonal Maintenance AssistantsThe Town of Windsor, CT is seeking hardworking, dedicated individuals to assist town crews in the upkeep and maintenance of Town buildings, parks and roadways. Normal hours of work are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $20 hourly. The Position: Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with paving, patching streets, and painting. Our ideal candidate will have:Basic knowledge of the principles of building and grounds maintenance;Basic skill in operating hand tools and small machinery;Excellent customer service skills;Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.Minimum qualifications:High school diploma, or equivalentA valid driver's licenseRelevant work experienceSuccessful completion of the town's pre-employment background check and drug screen (includes screening for marijuana)To apply: Complete an on-line application at position will be open until filled.
