We are seeking a motivated and diligent Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient food service environment. Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using manual handling techniques that prioritize safety.
• Thoroughly clean all areas of the restaurant, including front of house spaces, at the completion of service nightly and prior to opening.
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized and stored in accordance with sanitation standards and kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for service periods.
• Follow strict food safety management protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other related appliances.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation procedures, and kitchen health standards is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large quantities of dishes or supplies.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus for supporting overall kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety practices and sanitation protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Excellent manual handling skills with attention to detail in cleaning processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
