Data Center Engineer Location: Seattle Washington Employment Type: Contract Join a World-Class Mission Critical Operations Team We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to lead engineering operations within a large-scale, mission-critical data center environment. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-availability operations and have a proven track record managing critical infrastructure, driving reliability initiatives, and leading technical teams. If you have worked in Google Data Centers we would like to speak with you. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day engineering and facility operations for a mission-critical data center. Ensure maximum availability and reliability of electrical and mechanical infrastructure. Manage maintenance activities, change management, and operational readiness programs. Lead critical incident response efforts and root cause analysis investigations. Develop and mentor engineering technicians and operations personnel. -,Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and scalability. Partner with facility, construction, safety, and operations teams to support growth and expansion projects. Ensure compliance with operational standards, maintenance procedures, and safety policies. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Data Center Operations, Critical Facilities, or Mission Critical Environments. Exp working in Google Data Center as an Engineer Experience leading technical teams in 24x7 operational environments. Proven track record of improving reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency.
