The primary area of expertise is in cybercrime and/or cybersecurity. The position is a 12‑month appointment with annual review, teaching responsibilities in in‑person, online, or blended/hybrid modalities, and the possibility of summer teaching. This position is located on the Atlanta campus and requires in‑person, on‑campus work. The Andrew Young School maintains a flexible work environment. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses in criminal justice, criminology, and cybercrime/cybersecurity, including in‑person, online, or blended/hybrid modalities. Develop and deliver high‑quality teaching materials and assessments. Conduct original research in cybercrime or cybersecurity and publish in scholarly venues. Engage in service to the department, university, and the broader scholarly community, including participation in the Evidence‑Based Cybersecurity Research Group or related initiatives. Qualifications Required Education: Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a substantively relevant field. ABDs may apply, but the degree must be in hand by the start of employment. A J.D. or DCJ alone is not sufficient. Preferred Qualifications: University teaching experience and a demonstrated record of research and publication.
