Employee Benefits Specialist

Job Overview Seeking Leave of Absence Specialist to provide exceptional support for team members, managers and internal partners during the full leave cycle and ADA interactive process while working directly with 3rd party administrators. The Leave of Absence Specialist is responsible for managing leave and ADA accommodation and interactive process within the guidelines of federal and state laws and company policy. Responsibilities Administer Leave of Absence (LOA) programs and policies ensuring support and processes are followed Research and resolve issues Engage in the interactive process associated with ADA Accommodations and the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) Process high volume of leave actions in company payroll, timekeeping, and HR systems Maintain up-to-date knowledge of leave laws, PWFA and ADA regulations Collaborate with workers compensation vendor to process claims Develop and generate reports analyzing LOA data and trend SME for the leave programs Reconcile/analyze payroll files or resolve individual pay inquiries as related to leaves Ensure compliance with state and federal leave laws, providing support and project execution when new laws develop Skills 3+ years of experience in US disability/leave administration and ADA accommodations Strong understanding of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws (i.e. ADA, FMLA, PFWA, CFRA, HIPAA, etc) Strong organizational skill Workday experience is preferred but not required Experience working in a high-volume environment or large employee Experience administering a CA VDI Plan a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
