Job Summary (Attorney New Jersey)

- Manage and litigate a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters across New Jersey.
- Handle cases involving real estate disputes, contract disputes, business torts, partnership/shareholder disputes, foreclosure prevention, and collections.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
- Represent clients in state and federal court for conferences, hearings, and motions.
- Argue motions, manage discovery, and resolve discovery disputes.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, trial, and participate in trial preparation and conduct trials when appropriate.
- Prepare and assist with appellate filings and arguments.
- Communicate directly with clients, advising on litigation strategy, risks, and case status.
- Work on impact litigation, including civil rights and constitutional rights cases.
- Maintain independent management of litigation docket and case files.
- Collaborate with team members while exercising autonomy and strong judgment.
- Receive mentorship and professional development support within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey bar admission in good standing.
- At least one year of civil or commercial litigation experience (judicial clerkship may be considered).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with court appearances, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial/appellate work preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
