Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certified Special Education Teacher in Texas (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience supporting students with complex needs, ideally life skills and homebound instruction
• Ability to provide onsite services as required
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Compassion and adaptability in serving diverse learners

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Deliver 6 hours of homebound services weekly to a 3rd grade Life Skills student (including 4 instructional and 2 compensatory hours)
• Collaborate with families and district professionals to optimize the student’s learning experience
• Maintain documentation and comply with all district and state requirements
• Adapt instruction to maximize student engagement and achievement
