Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Springfield, MA

This contract Speech-Language Pathologist assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, providing dedicated services within a program tailored for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and diverse learning needs. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold active Speech-Language Pathologist credentials and meet all state licensure requirements
• SLP-CCC certification required
• Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with high school populations
• Comfort and enthusiasm for serving students with ASD or other learning differences
• Proven ability to supervise and collaborate with SLPAs
• Strong communication, rapport-building, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to high school students within the Compass High Program
• Supervise and provide guidance to the assigned SLPA
• Develop, implement, and update IEP goals, working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain thorough assessment, documentation, and progress reporting
• Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere, helping students build functional communication and life skills

Position Details:

• School year contract: August 27, 2026 - June 22, 2027 (subject to calendar confirmation)
• Assignment based in Ludlow, MA
• Weekly schedule: 32.5 hours
