School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | West Springfield, Massachusetts

This contract role is based at a high school in Ludlow, MA, within a program dedicated to fostering independence and growth beyond traditional classroom settings.


This position is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and have experience or interest in guiding both students and SLPAs. What You'll Bring:

• Current state licensure and all necessary credentials for school-based SLP work
• CCC-SLP designation required
• Experience in school-based settings, preferably working with high school students
• Understanding of or interest in serving students with ASD or similar learning differences
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
• Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus

Your Day-to-Day:

• Delivering individualized and group speech and language therapy to high school students
• Supervising and mentoring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Creating and implementing treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all ethical and regulatory standards

This is a 32.5 hour/week contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, with estimated dates from late August through late June.
