Shipping Coordinator
Position at JBS USA Shipping Coordinator ($25.00/HR) Resume required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume. Location: Lenoir, North Carolina
Purpose & Scope: We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator at our Lenoir, NC facility. This role will prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for product shipment

Principle Responsibilities:
- Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment
- Leads communications within the Shipping/Receiving area. Schedules and Coordinates both Domestic and International freight forwarder transactions
- Ensures freight forwarders are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery
- Maintains shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping transaction in appropriate systems
- Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required
- Provide guidance to others within the shipping/receiving area
- Communicates status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnel
- Review open customer orders, create pick worksheets on an as needed basis to efficiently meet customer shipping schedule and satisfy the requested ship dates
- Generate shipping output documents as required
- Generate customer invoicing upon shipping. Audit waiting-to-ship reports daily to ensure all invoicing is completed
- Coordinate the shipping of freight by contacting appropriate fright carriers
- Communicate shipping volumes and priorities closely Shipping Supervisor
- Maintain knowledge of current international import/export regulatory requirements
Working Conditions:
- Work in Plant environment, shipping dock, cold environment
Education: High School/GED Experience: Experience in a fast paced environment Special Skills:

- Ability to multitask
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with excel
