Universal Banker Supervisor- East Hampton

Salary Range: $27.48/hr – $41.21/hr. Hiring immediately. $2,000 sign‑on bonus payable after completing 6 months of employment. The role combines supervisory responsibilities with customer service, teller, and branch operations duties, including support of branch sales and service efforts. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and resolve service‑related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate product, account, and service information ethically to current and prospective clients. Operate in a leadership capacity when branch management is absent; approve or override financial transactions with due diligence. Train and mentor new tellers, customer service representatives, and universal bankers, ensuring adherence to customer service standards and compliance with CIP and BSA requirements. Handle difficult or complex problems, ensuring a favorable outcome for the bank and customers; elevate issues to appropriate business partners when needed. Open and close accounts, vaults, safes, and ATM machines; maintain orderly customer areas and accurate record‑keeping. Communicate disclosures, rules, regulations, and FDIC protection to customers at account opening. Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, audit policies, code of conduct, and operational controls to safeguard client information and bank assets. Perform additional duties as requested. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience in teller/customer service roles. 1–2 years of supervisory experience in teller or platform units. General understanding of banking operations (risk, compliance, fraud, loss, etc.) preferred. Strong customer‑relationship skills and ability to develop and maintain product knowledge. Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication (verbal and written). Confidence, professionalism, and positive demeanor in customer interactions. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to be cross‑trained in other branch functions. Availability for weekend work, extended hours, and occasional travel; cross‑branch coverage may be required. Visa sponsorship not available.
