Shift: Days, 7AM - 5:30PM (4 Days - 10 Hours)
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Pay Rate: $63.65/hr

Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care for the specific age group served in the Cath Lab. Ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality care aligned with unit standards. Demonstrates professionalism, respect, and effective communication in interactions with staff, physicians, patients, and families.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and prioritize care based on patient needs.
• Reassess patients regularly to monitor progress.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Make clinical decisions based on evaluations and modify plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Document interventions and evaluate care effectiveness.
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise team activities.
• Participate in staff orientation and unit development initiatives.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts.

Customer Relations:

• Ensure high patient satisfaction and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively to promote teamwork.
• Uphold the hospital's integrity and positive image.
• Support organizational goals and service quality improvements.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA.
• Knowledge of patient care for the specific population, patient rights, and effective communication skills.

Work Schedule: 4 Days - 10 Hours per day
