Job Title: Registered Nurse

Description:
Primary location assignment is the designated area but must be willing to float as staffing needs require.
Shift is from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsible for providing routine and complex nursing care while demonstrating an awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations.
Continuously develops skills to manage clinical nursing contingencies.
Makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to manage clinical situations effectively.
Meets expectations of applicable competencies.
Utilizes the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
Administers medications and treatments according to protocols and monitors for side effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers while identifying issues and resources.
