Vice President, Valuation Services

Our Valuation Services prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes. Vice Presidents work on a variety of assignments, including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, equity valuations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, and dispute consulting.Day-to-day responsibilities:Researching target industries, across energy (oil & gas, utilities and the energy transition) and infrastructure (transport, communications, social), as well as competitor informationManaging client engagements from day-to-day interaction with the client through to staffing and managing the resources and work plan through to timely completionPerform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research and valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted approaches and theoryInterview clients and design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, intangible assets, and option pricing analysesResponsible for preparing complex strategic reports outlining data pertinent to engagement, market research, company valuations, and analysis of strategic and financial alternatives to assist clients in anticipating and adapting to increased market competitionPresent reports regarding analysis and conclusions of findingsEssential Traits:The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/university5-6 years of constructing and reviewing valuation & other financial models including: DCF, comparable company & transaction, and intangible asset analysesCFA and/or CPA professional designations a plusPrior experience working across the Energy & Energy Transition space (upstream, midstream, power generation, renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities) is a plusDemonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships as well as mentoring and developing staffStrong analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of software packages including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teamsYour recruiter will be happy to walk you through your U.S.-specific benefits, which include:Healthcare Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.Time Off and Leave Policies: Generous paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, generous parental and family leave.Protective Insurances: Life insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and accident protection.Compensation and Rewards: Competitive salary structures, performance-based incentives, and merit-based compensation reviews.Retirement Plans: 401(k) plans with company matching.Please note that benefits may vary by region, department and role.
