General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

Job Summary HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a general surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with first assist interests or experience to assist a busy, employed general surgeon in southeast Houston, TX. This is an OR heavy position. Position is open to new grad APPs interested in general surgery. Specialization Surgery General Qualified Candidates The surgeon will train a new grad or will welcome a PA or NP with experience Certification as a PA or NP Ability to obtain or maintain an active Texas medical license New grad Advanced Practice Providers will be considered - but must have strong general surgery experience or passion for general surgery. The incoming APP would need to perform inpatient rounding and help in the OR. See established/post-operative patients Participate in the call rotation.
