Crude Hauler - Night shift

Crude Oil DriverPosition Summary: The Crude Oil Driver operates a truck and trailer to deliver crude oil from one destination to another. This safety-sensitive position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of the vehicle, within company policy.Responsibilities:Adhere to and follow all safety guidelines as directed by Company and OSHA policiesTest and buy oil according to A.P.I. (American Petroleum Institute) standardsLoad and unload tanker with crude oil, adhering to all company and governmental regulationsOperate semi-truck and transport load while adhering to state and federal laws and company policiesComplete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established proceduresMaintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as necessaryPerform safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities, as requiredMaintain miscellaneous daily service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank-related itemsRequirements:Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsementsTwo years driving experience that must include one year of tanker. Preferred experience in the oilfield terrainNo more than three moving violations in the last five years and no more than one moving violation in the last 12 months, no DWI/DUI in the last 5 yearsHave current medical cardMust pass a drive test with 18-speed transmissionBe able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background checkAble to drive in adverse weather conditionsAbility to work 12-14 hour shifts dailyAbility to chain upAbility to lift 75 pounds repeatedlyAbility to climb stairs repeatedlyCompensation and Benefits:Starting commission percentage based on tenure, experience and shift. Approximately $80,000 - $130,000 annually.Eligibility to earn safety and incentive bonusEligible for PTO, medical, vision, dental, life, short- and long-term disability, 401k and other supplemental insurance after 30 days of employment
