Job Description

The Estimator III is responsible for preparing quotes for mostly non-standard & custom products as directed by the Estimating Manager. They are responsible for reviewing quote requests and communicating with sales team and/or the customer directly to accurately understand the quote requirements and prepare pricing.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Read & analyze requests for quotes, drawings, pictures, emails, etc. to create price quotes.
• Prepare quotes accurately and in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding department performance standards.
• Send completed quotes to customers and/or sales team, when required.
• Communicate directly with customers to obtain information required to prepare quotes.
• Provide technical and/or pricing support to lower-level estimators, sales and customers as needed.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree or Equivalent experience and training.
• Minimum of 5 years estimating and construction knowledge, metal fabrication and manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of estimating practices and software, Bluebeam software preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Typical office environment with periods of time spent on the manufacturing floor.
• Occasional lifting no greater than 20 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Travel TBD
