Mortgage Customer Service Representative

Metroplex Mortgage Services is hiring a full-time Mortgage Underwriting Assistant for our Tampa office. This role supports underwriters by preparing, organizing, and reviewing loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, investor, and industry requirements. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with borrowers by phone, following up on documents, and guiding them through the loan process. Please confirm the Tampa commute is acceptable before applying. Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound borrower calls Provide loan updates and request documents Serve as the main contact through closing Keep loan notes and activity up to date Qualifications: • Able to commute to work every day to our Tampa office • Prior phone experience in the customer service industry • Willing to get NMLS licensed Compensation: $38,000 - $45,000 at plan
