Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a rehabilitation hospital night shift position requiring 1+ years of experience and Michigan state licensure.

Details

• Rehabilitation hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract length
• Epic EMR system used
• Scope of services includes bronchodilator care, ventilator care, pulmonary hygiene therapy, and airway management
• Performs tracheostomy changes, sleep disorder screening, and Bipap/Cpap therapy
• Conducts diagnostic procedures including EKGs, blood gas analysis, TCOM monitoring, and overnight pulse ox studies
• Assists with discharge education and coordination for patients

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), CRT not accepted
• Minimum 1+ years of experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBRC national certification required
• Michigan state RRT license required in hand prior to start
• License required if applicable
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
