Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit including triage, active labor monitoring, and delivery support
• Interpret and respond to fetal monitoring strips using equipment such as fetal monitors, IUPC, and FSE
• Perform vaginal examinations and assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Function as OB circulator in the operating room during surgical deliveries
• Assist with procedures including amniocentesis, amnioinfusions, and IUPC/FSE placement
• Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Proficiency in starting IVs and drawing labs
• Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Proficiency in vaginal examinations and OB circulator duties
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub for cesarean section procedures
• Experience with CPN and/or Meditech EMR platforms
• Highly organized with strong time management skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
