GENERAL MANAGER - ROOFING OPERATIONS

LCR Roofing – General Manager

Plattsburgh, NY | Full-Time | Onsite

LCR Roofing is a busy roofing company in the North Country. We are looking for a hands-on General Manager to run the day-to-day business and help us grow the right way.

This job is for someone who takes ownership , knows roofing or construction, and is not afraid to make tough calls. You will be the top leader on site and responsible for making sure jobs make money, people do their jobs, and systems are followed.

What This Job Is

You are in charge of the whole operation:

• Sales

• Estimating

• Project management

• Materials

• Field crews

You will watch the numbers closely and make sure:

• Jobs are priced right

• Jobs stay on budget

• Work gets done the way it was sold

If something is going wrong, you catch it early and fix it.

Money & Job Control

You will be responsible for:

• Job margins

• Cash flow

• Backlog

• Work in progress (WIP)

Knowify is our main system. You will make sure:

• Estimates are entered correctly

• Job budgets are accurate

• Job costs are updated every week

You will run weekly job cost reviews and hold Project Managers and Estimators accountable when jobs drift off budget.

Labor & H-2B Program

A big part of this role is managing labor.

You will:

• Plan labor based on work booked

• Manage the H-2B workforce program

• Make sure rules are followed

• Watch productivity and labor costs

The goal is simple: right people, right time, right cost .

Meetings & Reporting

You will:

• Lead weekly KPI meetings

• Give clear monthly reports to ownership

• Talk straight about what's working and what's not

No fluff. Just facts and action plans.

People & Leadership

You must be visible and involved.

You will:

• Lead Project Managers, Estimators, and supervisors

• Coach people who want to improve

• Address problems directly when people are not doing their job

We expect a culture of accountability, teamwork, and getting things done .

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in roofing or construction

• Experience running jobs and managing money

• Comfortable owning results

• Experience with job costing and scheduling

• Knowify or similar software experience

• H-2B experience is a big plus

This is a fully onsite role in Plattsburgh, NY. You need to be present and involved every day.

Pay & Opportunity

• Base salary: $98,000

• Bonus based on:

  • Profit

  • Staying on budget

  • Clean WIP

  • Strong operations
