Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Specialty: RRT
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
Experience: Minimum of two years as a staff therapist required.
License: WI RCP required - pending license at time of submittal is accepted.
Certifications: BLS required - AHA ONLY. NBRC - RRT or CRT required. CRTs will have a rate differential.


Must-Have:
Pediatric and adult experience preferred.
Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital required.


Description:
Evening/Night shifts are available with every other weekend rotation and holidays.
One on-call shift is required every six weeks during the scheduling period.
Travelers have the option of either a 13 or 26-week duration.
Two years minimum as a staff therapist is required.
BLS certification is required, as well as NBRC certification as either an RRT or CRT.
Previous charge experience is required.
Experience with adult critical care and various respiratory therapies is essential.
Travelers are required to float as needed.
A telemetry exam will be required prior to start, with strict passing criteria.
Travelers must identify lethal rhythms and achieve a passing score of 80% or higher.
Failure to pass after three attempts will result in cancellation of the assignment.
Daily patient care will involve adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support will be available through respiratory services.
