The Coordinator of Early Childhood Education provides instructional leadership and programmatic oversight for Pre-K through primary grade programs across the district, including early learning academies and elementary campuses. This role drives data-informed decision-making, supports teacher effectiveness, and builds community connections that advance early literacy and school readiness.

Education/Certification:
Master’s degree from accredited university or college
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Mid-Management Certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Specific knowledge of early childhood, literacy, instruction, TEKS and state assessments
Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to manage personnel
Ability to interpret data, policy, and procedures
Ability to plan, organize, and work with committees
Strong communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work with students, parents, subordinates, peers, and supervisors
Experience:
Five years of classroom teaching experience preferred
