Meetings and Events Project Manager

Job Summary\n\nThe Meetings \u0026 Events Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high\u2011impact meetings and events that support the Semiconductor Product Group (SPG) at Applied Materials. This role partners closely with SPG business units, executive stakeholders, Corporate Communications, and cross\u2011functional teams to deliver seamless, professional, and well\u2011executed experiences across in\u2011person, hybrid, and virtual formats.\n\nThe ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, attention to detail, vendor coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast\u2011paced, dynamic environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Plan and project\u2011manage a diverse portfolio of meetings and events, including leadership offsites, internal forums, employee engagement events, and large\u2011scale programs.\n * Own end\u2011to\u2011end event execution\u2014from requirements gathering and planning to on\u2011site delivery and post\u2011event closeout.\n * Develop and manage detailed event project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.\n * Coordinate with internal stakeholders across business units, Corporate Communications, Facilities, IT, Security, and Global Meetings \u0026 Events.\n * Manage external vendors and venues, ensuring clear communication, accurate deliverables, and adherence to contracts and service expectations.\n * Partner with Procurement to support contract execution and vendor management.\n * Create, track, and reconcile event budgets; ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with company policies.\n * Support event registrations, communications, logistics, and on\u2011site operations (including travel, catering, A/V, and run\u2011of\u2011show).\n * Participate proactively in planning committee meetings and serve as a reliable point of contact for execution details.\n * Assist with hybrid and virtual event delivery, leveraging event platforms and tools as needed.\n * Ensure a consistently positive attendee experience while maintaining Applied Materials\u2019 brand and professional standards.\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n * 3\u20135 years of experience in meetings, events, or project management, preferably within a corporate, technology, or fast\u2011paced environment.\n * Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills.\n * Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, logistics, and budgets.\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.\n * High attention to detail and commitment to quality execution.\n * Self\u2011starter with demonstrated problem\u2011solving and ability to adapt in dynamic situations.\n * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and event/registration platforms.\n\n\n\nLocation: Santa Clara, on-site\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree (Required)\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n2 - 4 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\n10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nU.S. Salary Range:\n\n$78,000.00 - $107,500.00\n\nThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
