Job Overview A law firm seeks a partner-level attorney with expertise in Franchise Law for its New York City, NY office. The role involves working with diverse business clients on complex franchise matters across various industry sectors, collaborating with attorneys in multiple practice areas. Duties Navigate franchise agreements, disclosure requirements, and compliance issues. Resolve disputes related to franchise matters. Represent franchisors, franchisees, manufacturers, and distributors. Handle offering documentation and franchise agreements. Advise on compliance and manage governmental inquiries. Requirements Portable book of business required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in franchise law. JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law. Strong academic credentials and analytical skills. Client-service approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.Attention to detail and organizational skills. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications License to practice law. Skills Expertise in franchise law and related documentation. Strong analytical and writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
