CNC Programmer

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Machine Shop team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Programmer Location: Hobart, WI Pay Range: Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM What's the Job? Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes using G & M code and CAM software Develop machining processes, tooling selections, and setup instructions for new and existing parts Support machinists with troubleshooting programs, setups, tooling, and machining issues Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications Collaborate closely with Engineering and the Machine Shop to improve manufacturability and efficiency What's Needed? Candidates must have lathe and mill programming experience, along with proficiency in Mastercam software Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Familiarity with machining processes, tolerances, and manufacturing best practices Proficient computer skills Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; 3+ years of CNC programming, setup, and hands-on machining experience preferred What's in it for me?
