The role focuses on providing support and guidance to children, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will report to the Lead Learning Mentor and help support pupils academically, socially and emotionally. Key responsibilities include: Providing academic, social and emotional support to children. Developing, agreeing and implementing action plans with groups and individual children. Working collaboratively with the school team to facilitate children’s learning and progress. Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and supporting assessment. Contributing to safeguarding and welfare processes. Qualifications and skills: Qualifications at least a Level 3 (or equivalent) in Education or Support, with GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Team player with a constructive rapport-building approach. Experience working with children. High levels of personal integrity and confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. All appointments are subject to satisfactory reference and clearances, including an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
