**Exciting Opportunity for an Ultrasound Tech!** **Job Description:** - Position: Ultrasound Tech - General - Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) - Experience Required: 2 years - Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred - Travel Experience: Not Required **Certifications:** - Preferred: - ARDMS - ARDMS AB - ARDMS BR* - ARDMS OB/GYN* - BLS - RDCS - RVT* **Skills:** - Preferred Skills: - OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester; Fetal Anatomical Survey) - General Ultrasound (Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis, Spleen) **Work Settings:** - Adult - Emergency Department - Portables **Procedures:** - Amniocentesis* - Paracentesis* - Thoracentesis* - Ultrasound Guided Biopsy/Fine Needle Aspiration* - Vascular (Arterial Graft Studies, Arterial mapping, Carotid, Doppler Studies, Lower/Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous, Renal Artery Duplex, Transcranial Doppler) **Additional Skills:** - Outpatient* - Biopsies* **Float & Call Requirements:** - Float Required: Yes - Call Required: Yes (30 min call back time) - Weekend Coverage: Occasionally required (day or night) **Patient Population:** - Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Daily Census: 8-10 patients **Work Environment:** - Position involves floating between units, covering inpatient, ER, vascular, procedures, outpatient (breast ultrasound), and obstetrics. - Expected Patient Ratios: 1:1 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
